Desk Copy Policy: As a small, specialized, academic publisher we receive many requests for desk copies of our books. In order to deal with these requests, we have adopted the following desk copy policy:
Faculty teaching in the subject area of our books are entitled to receive the books with an invoice at a 40% discount (plus S & H and GST), the price at which we sell our books to bookstores. If a book is adopted as required for a course, we will cancel the invoice for that book / books so adopted upon receiving particulars of the course and the bookstore order. If the books are not adopted as required for course use, you may return the books to us within 60 days provided they are in pristine condition. Alternately, you may pay the invoice and keep the books.
In making your request please provide us with the name of the institution where you teach and the courses you teach or will be teaching. We believe that our policy allows faculty to review our books at no obligation, keep them with our compliments if adopted, or return them to us, or keep them upon payment if not adopted.
